We and our selfish ways

Look at them as they walk around the streets
Look at how they suffer with their dirty feets
They are just like us, destroyed by the streets
But who are to care for them
Who am I to give them shelter and food
Im here preparing for my better life
Preparing for my future
They should do the same

That man pulling himself on a wheel chair
Surely that’s not my brother
That lady laying helpless in the road
Definetely that’s not my mother
My family is very nice and perfect
Everybody has both hands and feet
No body is crippled in the street
We are busy with our lives living strict
They should do the same

As I sit upon a big soffa
Seeng a beautiful view on the window
What is that knocking, knocking on my chamber door
Who is that dirty ma, standing on my chamber door
Please! Take this person out before he dirts my chamber floor
Im far too perfect for him to stand on my chamber walls
I worked hard for what I have, hard for my majestic floor
He should do the same

My eyes are open still I cant see,
My legs are ok, still I cant move
Oh! My dear wife help me move
Please my uard help me up
Help me move around my majestic floor
Oh! Mr. can you spare me with a change
But he worked hard for that change,
Shouldn’t I do the same??

As I sit lonely on the streets and roads
Hearing people passing wishing there was a savior
The hunger fills my eyes surely i cannot deny
As the roads become scary, the night prevails
The lofe that i once had remains as imagination
I hear the footsteps of a man, loudly my shouting
Mr.  Can you help, its three days fill with emptiness
I hear him walking by, i hear his whispers
I worked hard to where i am
He should do the same!
